- Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of diplomatic passports with the stay duration not exceeding 30 days. The stay duration may be extended at an official request.
- Exemption of visa is granted to members of diplomatic missions or consular posts, representative missions at international organizations (as well as their families’ members) bearing diplomatic passports with the stay duration not exceeding 30 days. These people are liable to complete required procedures at the competent authorities of the host country within 30days from the date of their entry. Their entry shall be notified in advance through diplomatic channel.

- Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of official passports with the stay duration not exceeding 30 days. The stay duration may be extended at the request of the concerned diplomatic mission or consular post.
- Exemption of visa is granted to members of diplomatic missions or consular posts, representative missions at international organizations as well as their families’ members bearing official passports with the stay duration not exceeding 30 days. These people are liable to complete required procedures at the competent authorities of the host country within 30days from the date of their entry.
- Exemption of visa is granted to citizens of either Party working at the ASEAN Secretariat and bearing ordinary passports when enter the territory of the other Party to join ASEAN activities, provided that the stay duration does not exceed 15 days.
- Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of ordinary passports who are invited to join ASEAN activities organized by the ASEAN Secretariat or Governmental agencies or organizations, provided that the stay duration does not exceed 15 days.

Exemption of visa is granted to bearers of ordinary passports with the stay duration not exceeding 21 days, provided that their passports are still valid for up to 6 months and they have return air ticket or air ticket for leaving for another country.
