Beach and mountain for summer vacationers

VietNamNet Bridge – Summer is hot, as a matter of course, especially for those in busy dues like HCMC. And the favorite places for vacationers to hide themselves away from the sultry streets are normally the beach and the highlands.

There is at hand a tour combining both the mountain and the beach being offered by Saigontourist Travel Service Company. Aware of the rising demand, the tour provider Saigontourist has designed a combination tour, taking vacationers to the seaside resort city of Phan Thiet and Nha Trang and then taking them up to the mountainous city of Dalat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.

As designed, the first three days of the six-day tour will take travelers to Mui Ne region known for the 3S relaxation, namely the sun, the sand and the sea.

Vacationers can leisurely walk along beaches for sea breeze in the morning and afternoon, or indulge themselves in the cool water. They will also have a chance to explore the region by learning about dragon fruit plants that are grown a lot in the region, and have fun with skiing on soft and smooth sand hills.

Leaving behind natural landscapes in Mui Ne, vacationers will visit Nha Trang for a cultural taste of temples. The tour provider will arrange a trip to Long Son Pagoda and then the Po Nagar and Po Klong Giarai Cham Towers in the region.

The itinerary will then enable tourists to explore not only pristine beaches there but also local daily practices and natural scenery of the bay, which is recognized one of the most beautiful bays in the world, such as Chong promontory, Mun and Tam Islands among others.

The rest three days of the journey will take vacationers upward to the hilly city of Dalat popular with pine forests and valleys with hundreds of different types of flowers. The cool and fresh highland climate will make travelers relax when walking around and visit French-style constructions of Bao Dai King's Summer Palace, Domain de Marie Church and Truc Lam Zen Monastery among others.

Travelers cannot miss visiting Valley of Love, Xuan Huong Lake, Datanla Waterfalls, Dambri Waterfalls and Tuyen Lam Lake. Walking around Dalat Market, travelers will have a chance to interact with friendly local people, buying handmade souvenirs for friends and families.

The combination tour is categorized into deluxe, superior and standard levels depending on accommodations. For a group of five to seven travelers, the tour is priced from US$370 to US$474 per person.
