Mai Chau
This trip to the north west highland of Mai Chau offers a balance of cultural and physical activities set amongst some northern Vietnam"s stunning natural landscape. We spend the night within walking distance of Mai Chau and overnight in a White Thai village where we have opportunities to observe the local lifestyle of these minority people. From the mountainous region of Mai Chau, we travel back to the nations capital, Hanoi.
ITINERARY
Day 1 : Hanoi - Hoabinh - MaiChau
Departure at 7h00.The drive to MaiChau takes 4 hours, enjoy the scenery along the way see the interesting churches, pagodas and villages .At noon arrive Thai"s village .Have lunch on the stilt-house . Short walk around the Thai villages (5kms) to take picturesque Mai Chau valley and enjoy the relaxing surroundings of Ban Lac village .Dinner and sleep on traditional stilt house.
Day 2 : Mai Chau - Hanoi
Breakfast .Visit Lac village . Lunch .Back to Hanoi .Stop over in Hoa Binh for seeing biggest hydroelectricity plant .18:00 arrive Hanoi .
